GRS cottons are fabrics made with pre- and post-consumer recycled fibers. The certification imposes restrictions on the use of chemicals, compliance with a wide range of environmental criteria such as the use of water resources, waste management, energy, air pollutants etc. and the reference to rigid social criteria for workers' rights.
